Academy Coaching Staff
Coaches have extensive experience in coaching children and youth.
Jeff Brehmeyer
Director/Coach
Jeff has been the head coach at Los Osos High school for the past 5 years for both the boys and girls wrestling teams. He has coached 4 CIF champions, 6 Masters placers, and 1 State Placer, while leading the team to 2 League Championships (Boys 2020, Girls 2023).
Mark Gallego
Coach
Mark is a recent graduate of Los Osos High School (class of 2022) where he wrestled for 3 years. He volunteered last year as an assistant coach for the LOHS team and has been added to the staff for the coming season.
Yinghao Yang
Coach
Coach Yang is entering his 2nd year as an assistant coach on the Los Osos Wrestling Team. Prior to immigrating to the US, Coach Yang qualified for the Chinese National Team and competed at the highest levels. He brings a wealth of talent and expertise to our advanced wrestling classes.
Xingyu (Eric) Chen
Coach
Eric is a current wrester at Los Osos. He's been wrestling for 2 years, placing 4th in CIF last year. Eric is a great technician and communicates well with our younger wrestlers.
Kayla Ganac
Coach
Kayla is a current wrester at Los Osos. She is the reigning CIF champion and had qualified for State the past 2 years. Kayla is an exceptional technical wrestler and is very patient with all of the wrestlers.
